Your hosts for this sailing are Lena Trenholm and Lindsay Whitmore. Two friends who share a deep love of beautiful, intentional travel. Lena is a certified travel advisor with Fora Travel and a travel coach specializing in elevated experiences for women, and Lindsay brings years of expertise as a former cruise director who knows ships and group travel experiences. Together, they have curated every detail of this journey so that all you have to do is show up and enjoy.

Day 1 — Basel, Switzerland 🇨🇭 Board the AmaLucia and settle into life on the river. Explore the vibrant streets of Basel before setting sail, and meet your fellow travellers over a festive welcome dinner as Switzerland drifts past your window.

Day 2 — Breisach, Germany 🇩🇪 Step back in time through the charming 16th-century streets of Colmar, cycle through the Alsatian countryside, or hike the volcanic Kaiserstuhl where vineyards stretch across breathtaking landscapes. End the day with a taste of Alsace's renowned wines.

Day 3 — Strasbourg, France 🇫🇷 Wander through the UNESCO-listed fairytale streets of La Petite France, past the stunning Cathédrale de Notre Dame, and discover why Strasbourg is one of Europe's most beloved cities. Then raise a glass to the bright, aromatic Alsatian wines nurtured by the slopes of the Vosges Mountains.

Day 4 — Ludwigshafen, Germany 🇩🇪 A day of extraordinary variety — explore Heidelberg's iconic castle and its massive 18th-century wine cask, hike the Philosopher's Path for sweeping panoramic views, or discover medieval Ladenburg by bike. In the afternoon, sail to Rüdesheim and savour the legendary Rüdesheimer Coffee alongside local wines.
